Art in the Community

In 2020, I proposed a game of “Art Telephone” in the community to the MSU Broad Art Museum. Art Telephone was an idea formulated for the MSU Broad Open Call, a community outreach attempt to encourage people to come up with and collaborate on future MSU Broad Events. Watch the video here!

Exhibits & More!

I’ve displayed at a few shows, conventions, and markets, and this is not the first time I’ve collaborated with the Greater Lansing Arts Council (see; Young Creatives Guide 2015/2016), but this exhibit, “Love is a Moving Story”, was the first to debut my work on its own. January 2020.

Although hired as a communications associate at the BIGGBY Home Office in 2015, I had several opportunities to use my graphic design skills to contribute to marketing and branding projects. These included:
● BIGGBY branded Valentine’s cards
● Cover art for Communications Associates Training Guide
● Assets for Annual Franchise Meetings (AFM) from 2017-2019, including event banners, t-shirt designs, “standee” for participant photo ops, table signage, and presenter caricatures
● Project designs for BIGGBY “Giving BIGG” volunteer campaign

I created a list of 30 unofficial “prompts” to create marketing and designs based on. Called “Giving BIGG”, this list was thought of around the time that BIGGBY was bringing out the honey lavender flavor for the first time. The other part of the list was to partner with various charities. I imagine that these buttons could go towards raising money for charities that save bees!
While this was not the only time I created BIGGBY-themed Valentines, these were probably the most on brand!
Fun facts: This piece, aside from the stock image of the magic milk, is all vector! The caricature you see on the cover is actually that of my old boss.
